In-Person Intensives & Retreats
You understand the science of your nervous system.
Now, it is time to give your body the physical space to heal it.
The digital courses gave you the clinical vocabulary. The Haven Integration Community gave you the ongoing support and validation. But there comes a point in trauma recovery and family healing where you cannot simply think your way into a new baseline.
True, lasting change requires dropping your defenses, stepping out of your daily environment, and engaging in deep, somatic rewiring.
It is time to move talk therapy out of the clinical office and into the arena.
Welcome...
...to The Haven Collective Flagship Campuses in New Wilmington, PA. Here, we combine evidence-based psychotherapy, equine-assisted somatic mirroring, and restorative nature to help you rebuild your family’s nervous system from the ground up.
Experience the breakthrough of years of therapy in just a few days.
Choose Your Immersion Path
Whether you are looking for the shared power of a small group or a private, laser-focused intervention for your family, we have designed three distinct in-person experiences to meet you exactly where you are.Â
1. The Haven Healing Retreat
The power of shared somatic healing on a working family farm.Â
This is our flagship immersive experience. Limited to a small, carefully curated group, this multi-day retreat is designed for individuals ready to do the deep work of trauma recovery, boundary setting, and nervous system regulation alongside others who truly understand.
The Experience: Equine-assisted somatic therapy, EMDR protocols, guided horticultural therapy in our bio-intensive greenhouse, and farm-to-table organic catering.
The Outcome: You will leave with a physically lighter body, a cleared mental fog, and a personalized, embodied blueprint for maintaining your peace back home.
Investment: $10,000 per person (Includes all clinical modalities with licensed professionals, immersive experiential counseling, luxury lodging at one of our nearby luxury accommodation partnerships, and farm-to-table culinary experiences).
Â
The Targeted Family Intensive
A private, deep-dive intervention to stop the cycle of dysregulation.
When the family system is in crisis—whether from addiction trauma, severe behavioral dysregulation, or attachment wounds—a weekly 50-minute therapy session is often not enough to stop the bleeding. The Family Intensive is a private, multi-day deep dive dedicated exclusively to your family unit.
The Experience: We utilize animal assisted therapies, family systems protocols and somatic family mirroring to identify the root neurobiological causes of your family's distress. We do not focus on "punishing behaviors"; we focus on restoring your family's Internal Compass.
The Outcome: Breaking the cycle of daily meltdowns and generational trauma, resulting in a concrete, actionable ecosystem plan to take back to your living room.
Investment: $2,000 per day (Typically structured as a 2- to 4-day private immersion).
Â
3. The Haven Immersion
A completely customized healing protocol.
Because trauma and family dynamics are uniquely complex, we offer fully personalized, build-your-own immersion experiences. You tell us the exact clinical and logistical needs of your family, and Jennifer and the multidisciplinary team will design a custom healing protocol from the ground up.
The Experience: You control the pacing, the modalities, and the duration. Whether you need a blend of private individual EMDR, intensive co-parenting mediation, specialized OT/PT sensory interventions for your child, or exclusive use of the Stonepile Rd Equine Hub, we build the schedule around your nervous system.
The Outcome: The ultimate, accelerated healing experience, offering absolute privacy, dedicated multidisciplinary attention, and a highly specific roadmap for your family's relational flourishing.
Investment: Custom pricing based on duration, specific clinical partnerships, and facility exclusivity.

A Unified Front for Your Family
Therapy to heal the root. Coaching to build the routine.
A sanctuary to hold the process.
This is The Haven Collective.
We don't just treat the symptoms. We heal the entire ecosystem.
At The Haven Collective, we know that true, lasting healing requires more than 45 minutes on a clinical couch. It requires a multidisciplinary approach that addresses the neurobiological root of trauma, provides the logistical coaching to change daily habits, and offers an environment where the nervous system can actually exhale.
To achieve this, we have assembled a powerhouse leadership team. By bridging master’s-level clinical psychotherapy, specialized educational advocacy, and actionable family-systems coaching, our team provides a seamless, "cradle-to-flourishing" pathway for your family.
Meet the experts leading your healing journey.
Jennifer Thumm, LPC
Visionary, CEO & Clinical Director
Jennifer is the architect and clinical engine behind The Haven Collective. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with deep, ongoing post-graduate specialization in infant, child, and family mental health, Jennifer built this ecosystem to solve the exact problem exhausting today’s families: the massive gap between clinical therapy and real-world application.
Uniquely dual-credentialed with an extensive background in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education, Jennifer speaks both the language of the nervous system and the language of the school district. She understands that a child’s dysregulation cannot be "managed" by behavior charts—it must be healed through somatic safety.
As the Lead Facilitator for our clinical immersions at Haven Family Farms, Jennifer takes therapy out of the clinic and into the pasture. Utilizing animal-assisted interventions (including our quarter horses and therapy dogs) and regenerative nature-based practices, she guides neurodivergent and trauma-affected families out of chronic survival mode and into deep, measurable connection.
Angi Dougherty
Director of Coaching & Retreat Operations (Owner, Footprints Healing)

As a certified professional coach, Angi focuses on the present-day integration of your healing. She is the "boots on the ground" expert who helps families translate clinical breakthroughs into daily routines. Whether she is leading a Track B Coaching Retreat, facilitating our digital group coaching cohorts, or helping parents establish functional boundaries at home, Angi provides the accountability and psychoeducation families need to sustain their growth.
Additionally, Angi serves as the mastermind behind the logistics and hospitality of every single physical immersion at Haven Family Farms. She ensures that from the moment you step onto the property, every farm-to-table meal, cozy lodge detail, and scheduling transition is seamlessly handled—so you can focus entirely on your family's healing.
Lisa Shaw, LPC, CADC
Lead Clinical Trauma Specialist
Lisa brings profound clinical depth and unwavering steady support to The Haven Collective. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Lisa specializes in the heavy lifting of deep trauma resolution.
Lisa handles the clinical complexities that keep individuals and families anchored in the past. As our resident EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) specialist, she expertly guides clients through the neurobiological rewiring of severe trauma, PTSD, and the painful family dynamics of addiction recovery.
Operating as the Co-Lead Facilitator for our Track A Clinical Retreats and Family Intensives, Lisa provides the clinical safety net required for clients to process their darkest moments. Her approach is deeply empathetic but grounded in evidence-based reality, ensuring clients don't just talk about their pain—they actually resolve it at the root.
